KPV is a naturally occurring tripeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence Lysine-Proline-Valine. It is a C-terminal fragment of the naturally occurring hormone alpha-Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone (alpha-MSH) and has been the subject of growing scientific interest and published research. KPV is one of the most actively studied short-chain peptides in contemporary academic and biomedical research literature.
